Hello, livejournal friends, you have been missed, and I hope you sweeties are doing well. A special shout-out to [info]ihatecamera, whom I dearly miss and wish I had met a few more times before she left for India.

In about two weeks, I will be packing my bags and leaving for Melbourne, Australia, where I will spend the next two years in University. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about all the exploring I'll get to do. I've spent the last twenty years in a country so small that a fifth of it is man-made - and now I will be in a country (heck - a continent!) that could contain a thousand copies of my country. 8 million square kilometres means plenty of new people to meet, and wonderful, magical places to find. I absolutely can't wait.

Thanks! I hope I can deal with the whole lack of broadband internet there (which, ahem, equals virtually NO downloading).

Nope, the writing isn't mine, although it is rather similar to my own, so I shall go ahead with thinking that you called my handwriting adorable lol.

Thank you sweetie! I'm still in the midst of packing and it's so difficult just to choose 30kilograms of things to bring with me.
