1. If you haven't noticed, I've pretty much haven't been around Livejournal for ages - I've been working twelve hour days and coming back home at 9 every night, completely exhausted, so the only thing my brain can really do is just watch Battlestar Galactica and get my nerd on. So, please excuse me if I hardly comment etc etc, and if you like your lj-friends post-y and comment-y, I don't mind at all if you cut me. A lot of the time I'm posting at Tumblr anyway, which is much less stressful.

2. Ok yeah, as I mentioned, I finally started watching Battlestar Galactica. And I know the whole "OMGZG BEST TV SHOW EVAZZ!!1!" is incredibly annoying and whatever, but I mean it when I say it for this show. Well written and produced, very very addictive, and the cast is frakking amazing. It also brings up a lot of sociological and philosophical arguments about humanity, and you take away a lot from an episode and the things they bring up. So ummmm.. watch it? Even though it will probably up your nerd factor by a lot.

3. I really have to stop spending away the little allowance I'm getting from my internship on stuff from Forever 21. HAVE TO STOP

4. My entire family is gone for four days (yeah greeeeeeeeat, leave me at home while you guys go have an awesome holiday) so I'm all alone, but instead of throwing a party like the normal teenager would do, I am just going to sleep a lot, eat frozen pizza and make sure my new puppy doesn't eat everything.

5. Have a great weekend you guys. Go live your life! Cause being a grown up and going to work kinda takes all that out of you.

I have to admit I don't usually keep track of people outside of LJ. I'll bookmark your tumblr though so I can read it once in a while (p.s that librarian looks hot... hahahha)

My mum and dad are overseas. I'm home... studying and watching soccer. I'm such a loser. I have no life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL I used to be soooo into LJ back when I used to be really into fandom, but I hardly have the time anymore! I'm much too boring/lazy for typing out long entries.

And that article on librarians is fantastic! I think I left a link on my tumblr, did you see it? All of them dress really well, in a very understated and chic way.

HAHA It's so sad right? We should be staying out late etc etc but noooo, we're at home on the interwebz.

Sorry about the hellaciously long days you're working, Stef. Eight/nine hour days are bad enough let alone twelve hours one.

I've just started watching Battlestar Galactica (I'm up to 2x03 which I'm about to watch in a few minutes) and I'm absolutely loving it. I completely agree with everything you've said especially about the cast being frakking amazing which they are. Each episode just gets better and better and I'm already totally addicted.

Hope you enjoy your time alone while your family is away.

but yay yay yay for watching BSG too. My geek friends have been bugging me to watch it for years, and when I finally did I kinda hated myself for not starting earlier. It's *so* good and OH HI LEE ADAMA MY GRATUITOUS SEX OBJECT.

Aww, that's okay, sweets.

One of my best online friends has raved about BSG for years but it's only recently with so many of my Flist recommending it that I finally started watching it this week and I'm so annoyed that I didn't start watching sooner. And oh, I totally hear you about Lee Adama! That boy is fiiiine! I'm eagerly waiting for Michael Trucco to start appearing and I'll be all set. Hee!

I remember watching BSG before everyone on LJ started squeeing about it, hee. But I didn't really watch that religiously. I'll probably just get the (pirated) DVDs to catch up. Haha.

Forever 21 has pretty stuff. I can't say I blame ya. ;)

It gets better as it progesses actually, which is kinda amazing since they already start off really great. I am still kind of bitter I started watching it so late.

Hey Susan!! And wow, you sure caught up on the episode fast. I actually wanted to pace myself cause I knew about how Sci-Fi split the seasons (which is completely senseless since they've already wrapped filming) but it's so dang addictive.

agreed. it's very sad. people always think the harder they work now, the better they will enjoy retirement life... the problem is by then you will be too old to fully enjoy life.

i just started splurging on f21 stuff, oops. btw i like reading your tumblr blog :)

Oh yeah, the best time to enjoy life is the here and the now, but everything else keeps getting in the way.

F21 is the best place to splurge on, there's a lot of surprisingly pretty stuff. And thanks, I post there so much more than here. I absolutely love reading your LJ entries btw, they're so well thought out.
