You're alive ...YAY!

Things I liked about that day's episode of Pushing Daisies... in pictures!

This is by far my favourite set. I absolutely adore how kitschy it is.

Olive and Chuck as BFFs please!

Emotional porch scenes, which FNL have taught me to love. I love how the episode ranged from LOL-funny to tearjerker moments. Oh Ned!

I love it when Emerson's all mock-y. Chi McBride! I hated you on House, but I have nothing but love for you on PD.

I really liked how they made the episode feel really noir-ish. I hope I didn't just imagine it though. The music and lighting, especially for some particular scenes, felt very 50s-detective-movies.

ONLY ON Pushing Daisies: The Aunts' heads exploding into CONFETTI and Digby in a ghost costume. Aw.

Wow, I had so much hate for Vogler I was really apprehensive when I heard Chi McBride had a role in PD, because I had only seen him in House and I felt he was so off for a role on a show like PD. Turns out, he's perfect for it. Gun cozies FTW!

Oh my gosh, I &hearts &hearts &hearts your picspams!! They are so LOL funny, and I LOL just as much as I do with the show itself.

You are 100% right about Chi McBride. He was an ass on House, but he can be as judgy judge as he wants on PD and I'll still love him! And Digby's matching ghost costume was super cute!

I love how you cap Lee Pace's facial expressions, as he's got so many of them! Something about his face is just ... aesthetically pleasing. Whether it be the bushy brows, the eyes, the lips, the chin ... or all of the above!

The icons are pretty, too, but I'm not taking any right now. Thanks for the dull Saturday pick-me-up!

Glad you liked it! And yeah, Lee Pace is just soo.. PRETTY. Not the typical kind of pretty though, just "excuse-me-while-i-melt-into-a-puddle-when-you-smile" kind of pretty.

Love the picspam! Emerson mocking is seriously awesome. Lee Pace looked cute in the trenchcoat! And seriously, I love Olive. She's adorable. Her singing "Hopelessly Devoted" is still one of my favorite moments of the show thus far.

I totally got the same thing. Particularly in some of the shots in The Pie Hole where the lighting on Emerson & Olive has the harsh shadows of blinds. Initially (like in the cap you have as an example), Emerson is sitting by the window, so the shadows could just be an incidental, but then Olive goes back into the interior of the store to stand behind the counter, and Emerson follows her, and they still have the shadows of blinds on their faces where there probably shouldn't be any.

Yes, the typical noir shot: the silhouettes of blinds! I loved how they didn't try to be subtle about it (eg. using shots like that and the music and costume) but it still wasn't that noticeable.
